HP Vocal Artists Take Center Stage at Festival d’Aix-en-Provence 2023

The 75th Anniversary of the renowned Festival d’Aix-en-Provence is set to captivate audiences this summer, with several HP Vocal artists taking to the stage.  

Soprano Johanna Wallroth joins acclaimed pianist Kirill Gerstein in an intimate rendition of Mahler’s Symphony No.4 on 5 July, featuring an ensemble of talented young instrumentalists from the Festival’s Académie Chamber Music Residency in their final performance.

Deepa Johnny performs alongside an ensemble cast in Philip Venables’, The Faggots and their Friends Between Revolutions, a piece inspired by the influential 1977 cult novel of the same name. This groundbreaking new work has already made waves at the Manchester International Festival, with performances in Aix taking place from 7 – 9 July at the Pavillon Noir.
