Following his sold-out recital at the Queen Elisabeth Hall in October of last year, Nobuyuki Tsujii (Nobu) is back at the Southbank on 7 June. The renowned pianist shares the stage with Vasily Petrenko and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, performing Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No.1. This passionate, perennial favourite will be followed by Shostakovich’s unrelenting Symphony No.8; a hard-hitting and moving pairing to Tchaikovsky’s lush romanticism.
