Behzod Abduraimov performs Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No.2 with NHK Symphony Orchestra, in a series of two concerts conducted by Gianandrea Noseda, on 10 and 11 June in the NHK Concert Hall. The programme opens with Prokofiev’s Love for Three Oranges and closes with Casella’s symphony fragments from La Donna Serpente. Following this, Behzod appears in a recital at Toppan Hall on 13 June, playing pieces by Rachmaninov, Ravel and Prokofiev, as well as a presenting a work by Uzbek composer Dilorom Saidamonova.
