Stephanie Childress makes her debut with Konzerthausorchester Berlin conducting in a highly anticipated lunchtime concert on 24 May. The programme includes Britten’s Simple Symphony for String Orchestra, Ravel’s Tzigane — Rhapsody for violin and orchestra with soloist Stephen Waarts and Poulenc’s Ballet Suite, from his one-act ballet to music — Les Biches. Over the summer she will return to the US for Sun Valley Music Festival giving concerts throughout August.
