On 5 June at Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Kent Nagano conducts Philharmonisches Staatsochester Hamburg, as they perform Jörg Widmann​’s ARCHE. At this performance, both are honoured with two of the most important music honours in Hamburg: Kent Nagano as the Honorary Conductor of the Philharmonischen Staatsorchester Hamburg, and Jörg Widmann awarded as the 2023 Hamburg Bach-Preis.

This is the first time that ARCHE is performed at Elbphilharmonie since the world premiere, conducted by Kent Nagano for the official inauguration of the hall in 2017. Details of the performance can be found here.
