PABLO HERAS-CASADO CONDUCTS BRSO IN MUNICH
24/4/2023
Pablo Heras-Casado conducts Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra on 27 and 28 April at the Herkulessaal in Munich. The programme includes three works from the 20th and 21st centuries: Stravinsky’s ballet L’oiseau de feu (The Firebird), Ligeti’s Lontano — in honor of the composer’s 100th birthday — and Elena Firsova’s Concerto for Piano and Orchestra, composed for and premiered by soloist Yefim Bronfman. Pablo Heras-Casado returns to Munich after his last two world premieres in the Musica Viva series.
The programme is set to be broadcast on BR-KLASSIK: you can listen to it live on 28 April.
