Finnish conductor Hannu Lintu joins the BBC Symphony Orchestra and pianist Denis Kozhukhin, performing popular Russian classics (Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini and Stravinsky’s Petrushka) alongside new and undiscovered works (Galina Ustvolskaya’s Symphony No.1 and the UK premiere of Magnus Lingberg’s Serenades). Audiences of London can enjoy the concert on 17 February at the Barbican Centre.
