Alban Gerhardt joins BBC Philharmonic Orchestra in a lusciously lyrical programme of works by Mussorgsky, Clyne and Rachmaninov. With conductor Ben Gernon, Alban takes on Anna Clyne’s folk-inspired DANCE, an innovative yet charming five-movement cello concerto inspired by the words of Persian poet Rumi. Audiences can catch the performance at 28 January in the Bridgewater Hall.
