Paweł Kapuła makes his return to Germany for multiple engagements featuring two debuts in a range of highly exciting programmes. He conducts the Brandenburger Symphoniker in four concerts on 19, 20, 21 and 22 January at Brandenburger Theater. Under the theme Twelfth Night, or What You Will the programme shows the basic mood of the melancholic Shakespearean comedy featuring Tchaikovsky’s The Tempest, Glières’ Harp Concerto and Emilie Mayer’s Symphony No. 2.
Kapula then conducts the Württembergische Philharmonie Reutlingen in two concerts on 30 January at Stadthalle Reutlingen and on 10 February in Ansbach. The programme, titled Malicious, features Shostakovich’s Suite from Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk, Janáček‘s Overture from From the House of the Dead and Beethoven’s Triple Concerto.
