Benjamin Schmid returns to Scandinavia to lead a series of four concerts as Artistic Director of the Musica Vitae Chamber Orchestra this week in Sweden, playing one of the most beloved works in music history, Vivaldi’s The Seasons, in Landskrona on 8 December, Växjö on 9 December, Tingsryd on 10 December and Berg on 11 December.

Benjamin Schmid then performs Korngold’s Violin Concerto in a concert with Orquesta Sinfonica de Tenerife under the baton of Daniel Raiskin on 16 December. On 1 January Benjamin Schmid is the soloist in two New Year’s concerts with Paganini’s Violin Concerto No.2 with the Vorarlberg Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Leo McFall at the Große Festspielhaus in Salzburg.

Benjamin Schmid returns to the Orquesta Sinfonica de RTVE under the baton of Pablo González. Schmid performs Szymanowski’s Violin Concerto No.1 in concerts on 19 and 20 January at the Teatro Monumental in Madrid in a programme that also features Szymanowski’s Symphony No.2 and Ravel’s Daphnis and Chloe Suite No.2.
