Lionel Bringuier concludes his 2022 concerts with performances in Gothenburg and Palma this week. On 4 December he conducts the Göteborg Opera Orchestra in an all-Tchaikovsky programme called ​‘Winter Dreams’. Marianne Mörck narrates the first half in an exploration of the composer’s beloved Nutcracker ballet, and the second half features Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No.1. 

Bringuier then travels to Spain to conduct the Fundació Orquestra Simfònica Illes Balears on 8 December (Palma) and 9 December (Manacori). They perform Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No.1, and Nicolas Bringuier joins the orchestra for Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No.1.
