Sean Shibe, together with percussionist Colin Currie and fiddle player Jennifer Wrigley, have been appointed Associate Artists at Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where they will become a central part of the conservatoire’s creative community, collaborating with students and sharing their work with audiences. 

Shibe says ​“I’m delighted to become Associate Artist at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, an institution that has played such a strong role in my memories and musical upbringing, and I look forward to spending more time with the next generation of musicians.”

Shibe performs in recital with a programme featuring Poulenc’s Sarabande and Habanera by Thomas Adės on 5 November during the conservatoire’s Big Guitar Weekend, which runs from 3 – 6 November 2023.
