Cellist Alban Gerhardt journeys through the UK, performing three concertos with two of Britain’s premiere orchestras. Alongside Vasily Petrenko and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, he performs cello concertos by Rubinstein and Haydn on 3 and 6 November at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, before travelling up to Scotland to play Julian Anderson’s Ivors-nominated Litanies with Clemens Schuldt and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra on 10 and 11 November.
