Shenyang presents a new recital programme Variations of Jade — The Journey of Tang Poetry at the Macau International Festival on 2 October. With a collection of poems from the Tang Dynasty performed in original language and set alongside versions translated into music, he shares the stage with pianist Zhang Yiming and narrator Wong Pak Hou for a collaborative performance of spoken word and song.

There will be a further performance at Shanghai Symphony Hall on 21 October.
