Leila Josefowicz celebrates her return to National Symphony Orchestra, and performs John Adams’ fiery Violin Concerto under John Storgårds in three concerts on 29, 30 September and 1 October at The Kennedy Center. The programme also includes Prokofiev’s ​‘Classical’ Symphony and Rachmaninov’s restless, life-affirming Symphony No. 3. 

The Concerto has become Josefowicz’s ​“personal calling card,” she says, ​“this piece turned my entire existence upside down.”
