Martin Fröst and Víkingur Ólafsson join forces for the opening night performance with Concertgebouworkest at Westerpark in Amsterdam on 9 September, followed by a second concert in Essen Philharmonie on 10 September. 

This performance marks the beginning on 2022/23 season residency for Martin Fröst with the orchestra. He is the first wind player in Concertgebouw history to hold this title. The programme includes Dance Mosaic by Martin Fröst, Concerto for Piano by Edward Grieg, Short Ride in a Fast Machine by John Adams and Symphonic Dances from West Side Story by Leonard Bernstein. The artists are joined by the celebrated French conductor Alain Altinoglu.
