Jess Gillam ushers in the new season with the first performance on her 12-date international European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO) Rising Stars recital tour. Featured venues include Kölner Philharmonie (11 September), Birmingham’s Symphony Hall (27 November), Philharmonie Luxembourg (14 December), Wiener Konzerthaus (17 January), Concertgebouw Amsterdam (18 January), Elbphilharmonie Hamburg (26 January), Konserthuset Stockholm (3 February), Gulbenkian Música, Lisbon (19 March) and the Palau de la Música, Barcelona (31 May). The programme includes music by John Harle, Poulenc, Barbara Thompson, Telemann, Ayanna Witter Johnson and Weill, as well as a commissioned piece from British composer Edmund Finnis. Her accompanists are James Baillieu and Zeynep Özsuca.
