Camerata RCO tour with German baritone Matthias Goerne for two concerts at MITO Festival Settembre Musica. In a special concert of Lieder where the piano part is performed by the tones of Camerata RCO, the ensemble deliver the Italian premiere of Augmented Lights. 

Performing in Milan (17 September) and Torino (18 September), the repertoire includes Hugo Wolf’s Italian Serenade and Peregrina I, Peregrina II, three works by Schubert include his Hoffnung, Sehnsucht and Frühlingsglaube, two pieces by Robert Schumann Liebesbotschaft and Abendlied, Brahms’ An den Mond and Sommerfäden, Dvořák’s Bagatelle for two violins, cello and accordion, and Ligeti’s Ancient Hungarian Dances (all Lieder transcriptions by Alexander Schmalcz).
