Frankfurt music fans and concert goers had to wait for three years for this but finally, on 25 August, Frankfurt Radio’s large open-air concert will finally take place again at Weseler Werft in Frankfurt. Entitled Celebrating Europe, hr-Sinfonieorchester and the European Central Bank once again invite audiences to a very special concert evening. Chief Conductor Alain Altinoglu and the orchestra present works in which the night is musically central. Pianist Yoav Levanon will be debuting with the orchestra as soloist in this concert performing Chopin’s Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No.2.
