On 6 July, Sakari Oramo and soprano Anu Komsi perform at Kissinger Sommer Festival. They present the Kafka Fragments by György Kurtág, a special project in which the audience has the chance to experience Oramo as a brilliant violinist. This extraordinary piece has been part of the duo’s life for over 30 years.

The first time they performed the whole work in public was at the Viitasaari Festival in July 1988, and later the same year also in Helsinki. In 1993, they’ve recorded the CD performance with Ondine. They celebrated a comeback of the duo project this season at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid.
