On 24 June, Hannu Lintu and Martin Fröst join forces with Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France to perform the French premiere of Jesper’s Nordin’s Emerging from Current and Waves for solo clarinet orchestra and live electronics, a piece commissioned by Radio France, IRCAM — Centre Pompidou and Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra. The programme also features Sibelius’ Tapiola and Kaija Saariaho’s Château de l’âme with Faustine de Monès as soloist.
