Javier Perianes’ 2021/22 recital appearances continue in May and June with performances in Germany, the UK, and United Arab Emirates.

He performs his Love and Death recital, featuring sonatas by Beethoven and Chopin, excepts from Granados’ Goyescas, Liszt’s Funerailles and Wagner’s Liebestod in Mainz on 6 May. The concert takes place at the Frankfurtor Hof, Mainz, and is recorded for deferred broadcast on SWR2. 

Perianes also makes an orchestral appearance in Germany this week, where he steps in to perform Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 3 with Museumsorchester Frankfurt and Anu Tali, at the Alte Oper Frankfurt on 8 and 9 May.

Perianes then returns to the UK for recitals at St John The Evangelist Church, Oxford (12 May) and Parbold Hall (14 May) with his recital programme Spanish Postcards, where selections from Albéniz’s Iberia, Falla’s piano suite El amor brujo and Granados’ Goyescas are joined by Falla’s Fantasia Baetica.
