Laurretta Summerscales signs to HarrisonParrott Dance

HarrisonParrott is exicted to announce the signing of British born Principal ballerina Laurretta Summerscales. Laurretta dances with Staatsoper Ballet, Munich with her husband, Yonah Acosta.
Laurretta joined English National Ballet at just 18 years old and was quickly performing principal roles including new creations with world-renowned choreographers. In just three years she had been promoted to principal and she has since gone on to dance most of the major female roles within classical repertoire, including; Nikija in Patrice Bart’s “La Bayadere”, Giselle and Myrtha in Mary Skeaping’s, Sir Peter Wright’s and Akram Khan’s Giselle, Odette/Odile in Derek Dean’s and Ray Barra’s Swan Lake, Clara/Sugar Plum in Wayne Eagling’s Nutcracker, Madora and Gulnara in Anna- Marie Holmes’ Le Corsaire, Juliet in Rudolf Nureyev’s Romeo and Juliet, Lise in Sir Frederick Ashton’s La Fille Mal Gardée, Esmeralda in Andrey Petrov’s Esmeralda, Carmen in Carlos Acosta’s Carmen, Raymonda in Ray Barra’s Raymonda, Aegina and Phrygia in Yuri Grigorovich’s Spartacus, Kitri in Ray Barra’s Don Quijote, Tatiana and Olga in John Cranko’s Onegin and Rubies in Balanchine’s Jewels.
