István Várdai and Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra embark on a short tour of Spain playing at the Palau de la Musica in Barcelona on 19 April and Auditorio Nacional de Musica in Madrid on 20 April. Istvan Vardai leads Haydn’s cello concerto no.1 and the orchestra’s programme include Holberg Suite by Grieg, Serenade for Strings by Tchaikovsky and Spanish composer Montsalvatge’s Three reflections on a winter pastoral.
