Following successful performances of Harold in Italy with the Hallé Orchestra at Bridgewater Hall and The Sage Gateshead, Timothy Ridout joins the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra for their Rising Stars concert on 5 April. Under the baton of Jonathan Bloxam, Ridout plays Walton’s Viola Concerto; the programme also features soloists Leia Zhu and Abel Selaocoe. 

Afterwards, Ridout travels to Ireland for a recital on 7 April as part of the Drogheda Classical Music Series, performing a selection of works by Schumann and Brahms alongside pianist Julius Drake and mezzo-soprano Beth Taylor.
