Harrison Parrott is happy to share the news that Martin Fröst will be Artist in Residence with the Concertgebouworkest for the season 2022/2023, the first wind player to be given that honour. Performances include the opening of the season in September with a wonderful Dance Mosaic (conducted by Alain Altinoglu), the world premiere of Anna Clyne’s new Clarinet Concerto in January (with Jaap van Zweden) and Sally Beamish’s enchanting Double Concerto ​“Distans” written for Fröst and Janine Jansen in April (conducted by Klaus Mäkelä) alongside several chamber music projects and ancillary activities.
