This Spring Tabita Berglund makes her French debut with Orchestre National de Lille with concerts at Le Nouveau Siècle in Lille on 23 and 24 February and at Salle Damremont in Boulogne Sur Mer on 25 February. Berglund conducts a programme of German romanticism featuring Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.5 with soloist Rafal Blechacz, the Prelude and Liebestod from Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde, and Schoenberg’s Verklärte Nacht.

Berglund travels from France to Vienna to make her Austrian and Viennese debut with Tonkünstler-Orchester Niederösterreich at the Musikverein Wien on 1 March. Berglund conducts Bartók’s Concerto for Orchestra in a programme titled ​‘Do you love Bartók’?’ presented by Austrian music journalist and radio presenter Albert Hosp.
