Nicolas Altstaedt performs in recital at the Berlin Philharmonie as a part of the Berliner Festspiele and Musikfest Berlin on 19 December at 20:00.

Together with Soprano Anna Prohaska and harpsichordist Francesco Corti, they developed an extraordinary programme that spans the centuries and explores themes of linguistic confusion, loneliness, despair, and death. Milestones and discoveries of Baroque music are countered by works of the 20^th and 21^st centuries, including world premieres by Wolfgang Rihm and Jörg Widmann.
