Sol Gabetta performs in the official Nobel award ceremony concert in Stockholm in presence of the Royal Couple on 8 December at the Stockholm Concert Hall. On the programme is Saint-Saëns’ Cello Concerto No.1, the newly designated Music Director Ryan Bancroft conducts the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic.

Elim Chan conducts the Oslo Philharmonic on 11 December in the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize concert at the Oslo Konserthus and Eldbjørg Hemsing will play/​direct the first movement of ​‘Winter’ from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. Norway’s national TV channel NRK1 will broadcast the festive concert on 11 December at 9.20pm.
