On 3 and 4 December Javier Perianes steps in to perform Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G with Royal Scottish National Orchestra and Eva Ollikainen, his debut appearance with the orchestra. The concerts take place in Edinburgh’s Usher Hall and Glasgow Royal Concert Hall respectively. 

The programme opens with Ravel’s Une barque sur l’ocean, and is completed with a selection from The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky. The concert from Glasgow is livestreamed, and will also be available via the orchestra’s website on subscription until 31 January 2022.
