On 10, 11 and 12 November 2021, NDR Radiophilharmonie returns to Salzburg – its third visit there. With green touring becoming an increasingly important consideration, they travel to Austria by train, and all local transfers are on foot. Under the direction of Chief Conductor Andrew Manze, the Orchestra performs three concerts on the world-famous stage of Salzburg’s Festspielhaus. Virtuoso soloist Sergei Nakariakov joins them for Arutjunjan’s Trumpet Concerto and Tchaikovsky’s Rococo Variations arranged for Flugelhorn.
