Edo de Waart returns to San Diego Symphony Orchestra in his third season as Principal Guest Conductor. The programme for the concerts, titled ​‘The Russian Romantics’, includes Rachmaninov’s Symphonic Dances, Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No.1 with soloist, Simon Trpčeski, and Anna Clyne’s Abstractions. The performances take place at the orchestra’s brand-new outdoor venue, The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park on 13 and 14 November.
