A busy month packed with highlights for Lukáš Vondráček

Lukáš Vondráček is the featured soloist for the Prague Symphony Orchestra’s season opening concerts on 13 and 14 October, performing Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 3 under the direction of Tomáš Brauner which he will also subsequently record with the orchestra. He then joins forces with Marin Alsop and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra to perform Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 2 on 23 and 24 October.
Furthermore, Vondráček has just returned from Vilnius, where he played Dvořák’s Piano Quintet with the Vilnius String Quartet at the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Hall, and later this week he will be the soloist to close this year’s Bratislava Music Festival, performing Dvorak’s Piano Concerto with Slovak Philharmonic under the baton of Daniel Raiskin on 10 October.
