Opening the 2021/22 season, François Leleux returns to conduct the Gävle Symphony Orchestra on 16 September. Leleux conducts Rossini’s Barber of Seville Overture and Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite (1919 version). He is joined by long-time collaborator pianist Éric Le Sage for Mozart’s piano concertos No. 17 in G major, K.453 and No. 24 in C minor, K. 491. The piano concertos will be recorded for a release on Alpha Classics.
