Kristiina Poska commences her 2021/22 season with two debuts. Firstly, she appears at the 2021 Rued Langgaard Festival to conduct the South Jutland Symphony Orchestra on 3 September at the Ribe Cathedral. Programme includes Alma Mahler’s Three Arias performed by soprano Trine Bastrup Møller, Rued Langgaard’s Saga Blot for orchestra, and Zemlinsky’s Lyric Symphony joined by soprano Trine Bastrup Møller and baritone Jens Søndergaard.

Poska then travels to Aalborg to make her debut to conduct Aalborg Symphony Orchestra on 9 September. Programme includes Brahms’ Variations on a theme of Joseph Haydn, Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No.6, ​‘Pathétique’, and Mahler’s Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen with mezzo-soprano Annely Peebo.
