Patricia Kopatchinskaja continues her summer festival season with appearances in Germany, Norway, the UK, and Italy this month. 

On 16 August she performs a recital at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival with pianist Fazil Say. The concert at the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg features sonatas by Schubert, Brahms and Janáček. On 29 August they perform again at Mittelfest in the Teatro Ristori Cividale del Friuli.

On 19 August Kopatchinskaja travels to Oslo for her production of Pierrot Lunaire at the Oslo Kammermusikkfestival, with Clara Andrada, Reto Bieri, Joonas Ahonen, Vilde Frang, Berit Cardas, and Nicolas Altstaedt.

Finally, Kopatchinskaja makes her BBC Proms debut on 28 August with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. She performs Bartók’s second violin concerto, which will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 from the Royal Albert Hall.
