Finishing her busy festival summer, Nil Venditti conducts the Stuttgarter Kammerorchester at the Stresa Festival on 19 August. The programme includes Stravinsky’s Danses Concertantes, Beethovens’s Concerto for piano No. 2 in B‑flat major, Op. 19, and Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 1 in D major. Venditti collaborates with 14-year-old Moscow pianist Alexandra Dovgan for the Beethoven concerto. Dovgan is a prize winner at five international competitions and was invited to play Beethoven Concerto No. 2 with Gustavo Dudamel and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra earlier this summer. The concert takes place in the Stresa Convention Center, located in the heart of Stresa.
