On 11 February Nicolas Alstaedt performed Schumann’s Cello Concerto with Orchestre National de France conducted by Cristian Mācelaru. The concert without audience at Théâtre des Champs-Elysées was broadcast by France Musique and available to listen online.

Altstaedt also play-conducted Orchestra della Svizzera italiana for a streamed concert on 4 February available to watch on the orchestra’s website. The programme included Haydn’s Concerto No. 1 and Veress’ Four Transylvanian Dances. At Teatri Reggio Emilia, he performed the complete Beethoven cello sonatas with Alexander Lonquich on 6 February for a streamed concert available on the orchestra’s YouTube page.
