Across the 2020/21 season, Patrick Hahn conducts seven performances in Istanbul as part of Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra’s (BIFO) digital concert series. For his first concert on 26 November, Hahn conducts Arvo Pärt’s Cantus in Memoriam Benjamin Britten and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3 Eroica. The second concert of the series takes place shortly after, on 3 December, presenting a beguiling programme with works by Ives, Wagner and Mozart. Hahn’s series continues in the New Year with concerts on 28 January, 11 February, 4 March, 1 April and 15 April. All the concerts are live broadcast at 19:00 (GMT +3) on Borusan Klasik Radio and the concert on 26 November will be available for video-streaming for a week from 13 December through the Orchestra’s website.
