Anu Tali makes a welcome return to Spain this month for four performances in Madrid and Alicante. On 12 and 13 November, she conducts the Orquesta Sinfónica RTVE at the Teatro Monumental a programme featuring Haydn’s Cello Concerto No.2 (with soloist Steven Isserlis) and Stravinsky’s complete ballet music for Pulcinella. This will be followed by two concerts in with the ADDA Simfònica at Auditorio de la Diputación de Alicante on 21 November. On the programme will be Tubins’ Estonian Dances Suite, Shostakovich Cello Concerto No.1 (soloist Adolfo Gutiérrez) and Mendelssohn’s Symphony No.1.
