Stephanie Childress steps in at short notice to conduct the London Symphony Orchestra on 5 November after Susanna Mälkki unfortunately had to withdraw due to travel restrictions. The concert will be streamed live on Medici TV from Jerwood Hall, LSO St Luke’s and the programme will include Mendelssohn’s violin concerto played by Alina Ibragimova, as well as works by Sibelius and Saariaho.

Last month Stephanie took 2nd place at La Maestra Competition in Paris and forthcoming dates include debuts with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and Konzerthausorchester Berlin.
