Nikolai Lugansky performs a solo recital at Wiener Konzerthaus on 3 September in the piano series ​‘Klavier im Großen Saal’ (Piano at the Great Hall) which this season features, among others, Denis Matsuev, Fazil Say and Lang Lang. 

Lugansky will perform a programme of Beethoven, Franck, Chopin and Rachmaninov. The programme includes Franck’s Prelude, Choral & Fugue — the title piece of Lugansky’s recent album with Harmonia Mundi, alongside Beethoven’s Sonata No 28 in A Major, Op.101 which features on his newest recording, to be released later this year.
