“With theatres, venues, museums and galleries closing, film shoots being postponed and festivals being cancelled, more than half of creative organisations and individuals have already seen a 100% drop in income. 1 in 7 creative organisations who took part in a recent industry survey believe they can last only until the end of April on existing financial reserves. Only half think their reserves will last beyond June.
With this in mind, the Creative Industries Federation are launching a campaign calling on government for urgent funding for the creative industries to help creative organisations and professionals who are facing particularly challenging times. Read their press release.
