Javier Perianes kicks off the new year with a return to the Boston Symphony Orchestra. He performs Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.5 (Emperor) under the baton of Marcelo Lehninger on 2, 3 and 4 January at Boston Symphony Hall.
Perianes made his debut with the orchestra in 2016 performing Falla’s Noches en los jardines de España with Charles Dutoit to high critical acclaim:
“Perianes’ masterly performance conjured up the perfumes of the night, making its arpeggios, glissandos and unisons evoke the music’s seductiveness and mystery.” — (International Piano, September 2016)
