Joining Paavo Järvi and the Tonhalle Zurich as Artist in Focus, Pekka Kuusisto performs Sibelius’ Two Humoresques op. 87, Four Humoresques op. 89 and Two serenades op. 69 on 30 and 31 October at Tonhalle Maag. The programme on 1 November includes Erkki-Sven Tüür’s Walk on the Rope for violin and piano.

Kuusisto stays on for a Chamber Music Soiree at Tonhalle Maag on 3 November with members of the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich Vanessa Szigeti (violin), Gilad Karni (viola), Rafael Rosenfeld (cello), and pianist Benjamin Engeli performing works by Samuel Rinda-Nickola, Jean Sibelius, Eduard Tubin, Erkki-Sven Tüür, Arvo Pärt and Philip Glass.
