HarrisonParrott is delighted to welcome Albanian-born pianist Marie-Ange Nguci to its roster for worldwide general management.
Aged 22, Marie-Ange has already built a career across France and is beginning to be known internationally. Her recent highlights have included performances at Philharmonie de Paris, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Palais de l’Athénée in Geneva and Royal Albert Hall in London.
She is regularly invited to prestigious international festivals such as Ravinia Festival in Chicago, Beethovenfest Bonn, Kissinger Sommer in Bad Kissingen, Klavier-Festival Ruhr, Musikmesse Frankfurt, Gstaad Menuhin Festival, International Keyboard Institute and Festival in New York and Festival Musiq3 in Brussels. She is also a frequent guest at major French festivals including International Piano Festival of La Roque d’Anthéron, La Folle Journée in Nantes and Festival Radio France Occitanie Montpellier.
In 2018 her first CD, En Miroir (Mirare), received the coveted Choc de Classica and Vanity Fair France listed her as one of the under-30 pioneers who are changing the world.
Marie-Ange is a true polymath, not only passionate about playing the piano to the highest level, but also curious about every aspect of music. Her many academic qualifications include Master’s degrees in Piano Performance (with first class honours, in the class of Nicholas Angelich) and Music pedagogy, and she has also studied conducting, ondes martinot, organ and cello. Her repertoire is just as wide-ranging, from baroque and classical to romantic and contemporary.
During the 2019/2020 season, Marie-Ange will perform Gershwin’s Piano Concerto in F with Orchestre National d’Île de France under conductor Case Scaglione at the Philharmonie de Paris, where she first appeared in 2015. She also tours Japan and performs in major festivals such as Piano aux Jacobins in its French, Chinese and Japanese editions.
HarrisonParrott is grateful for the support of Yamaha and 4ème Art — L’Agitateur Musical in this exciting partnership.
