Gautier Capuçon joins Andris Nelsons and Leipzig Gewandhausorchester for a European tour, finishing with performances in Boston, USA.

Capuçon performs Brahms’ double concerto with Leonidas Kavakos in Leipzig on 10, 11 and 13 October, including an additional school concert as part of the Gewandhaus outreach programme on 10 October. The pair also appear alongside musicians of the orchestra at the late night event Klassik Underground, performing Brahms’ String Sextet in B flat major on 11 October. Capuçon then returns to Leipzig for performances of Schumann’s cello concerto on 17 and 18 October before taking the concerto on tour to Vienna on 19 October, Lugano on 23 October and Stuttgart on 24 October.

The tour finishes in Boston, USA, where Kavakos rejoins for performances of Brahm’s double concerto on 29 October. All concert information, including the tour can be found here.
