Stephanie Childress is taking over BBC Radio 3 on Friday 14 June in Take 5, a new BBC initiative where they explore the world of classical music through its youngest performers. Featured during the day is Stephanie’s newest endeavour, Orchestra Rheia, a live performance during In Tune with Sean Raffety, and a special edition of Mixtape curated by Stephanie specially for this occasion. Stephanie, a former BBC Young Musician, is one of Britain’s talented young artists chosen by the BBC, including operatic soprano Soraya Mafi, pianist Isata Kanneh-Mason, trombonist Peter Moore and clarinettist Mark Simpson, for this week’s Take Five.
