Bertrand Chamayou premieres Michael Jarrell’s new piano concerto ​“Reflections”

On 25 May, Bertrand Chamayou premieres Michael Jarrell’s new piano concerto Reflections in the course of his 18/19 residency at Maison de la Radio. The sold out performance is recorded by Radio France. 

The piece is based on virtuosity, as the composer says:

“Bertrand Chamayou possesses a magnificent technique, which I wanted to use, knowing that you have to forget that a hard thing is hard.”
