Following her successful debut with the Staatskapelle Dresden and Peter Eötvös earlier this season, Akiko Suwanai debuts with another top-level German orchestra, Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin and Maestro Vladimir Jurowski on 24 February. The concert at Konzerthaus Berlin features Brahms’ Violin Concerto and Strauss’ Alpensinfonie.

In late March 2019, Akiko Suwanai and the Orchestra under Vladimir Jurowski will again join the forces, embarking on a seven-concert tour of Japan where Akiko will be alternating as soloist with Leif Ove Andsnes.
